    Household registration statistics data analysis in Mar 2023 Print

    1. According to the household registration data, there were 9,128,914 households at the end of Mar 2023. Compared with the same month last year, there increased 124,769 households with an increase rate of 1.39%.

    2. By the end of Mar 2023, the total population was 23,332,929 with an increase of 63,938 compared with the same month last year. The population growth rate was 0.27% which meant that the average daily increased was 175.2.

    3. By the end of Mar 2023, the male population was 11,527,152 and female population was 11,805,777. The sex ratio was 97.64 compared with male to female.

    4. There were 12,506 babies born in Mar 2023 which decreased 2.21% compared with the same month last year. The average showed that a baby was born about every 3.6 minutes. The annual crude birth rate was 6.31‰.

    5. There were 20,572 deaths in Mar 2023 which increased 12.79% compared with the same month last year. The average showed that there was about one death at every 2.2 minutes. The annual crude death rate was 10.39%.

    6. The couples of marriage were 11,873 in Mar 2023. Including 11,581 couples of different gender and 292 couples of the same gender. The annual crude marriage rate was 5.99‰.

    7. The couples of divorce were 5,271 in Mar 2023. Including 5,207 couples of different gender and 64 couples of the same gender. The annual crude divorce rate was 2.66‰.

    8. There were 119,410 in-migrants in Mar 2023 which increased 15.74% compared with the same month last year. In the same time there were 91,965 out-migrants which decreased 38.07% compared with the same month last year.

    9. At the end of Mar 2023, the indigenous people was 585,455 with an increase of 4,128 compared with the same month last year (2.51% of the total population).

    10. At the end of Mar 2023, the population aged 0 to 14 was 2,814,842 (12.06% of the total population). The population aged 15 to 64 was 16,378,623 (70.20%). The population aged over 65 was 4,139,464 (17.74%). In addition, the population aged over 20 was 19,468,540 (83.44%).
